10 - Tea

I drink so much tea. I don't like any fancy types or flavours, it's plain English Breakfast for me. But I function so much better after I've had my morning cuppa. I can go through up to 10 a day, and with the size of my mug I need two teabags. I started drinking tea (Not so often) when I was 9. That's when my dad taught me how to use the kettle.

9 - Films

Preferably comedy films, but I'm partial to the odd action. My favourites are the Die Hard's, Back to the Futures (They have a cameo by the best bassist in the world), Pinocchio, Mulan, Zohan, Role Models and hundreds more. There's nothing like cuddling up on a cold night with a good film.

I've met a few famous people from movies, Robert Pattinson in 2005, Brandon Routh in June 2012, and my favourite of all, Sean Astin, aka my favourite Hobbit: Samwise Gamgee!

8 - Science

Science is intensely interesting. So many branches. So much to learn, yet so much undiscovered. You've got the philosophical side of science, where do we come from, why are we here. As well as the Psychological side; why do we act this way? What are people thinking? Why am I thinking this..? The Freudian biological side of things, which interests me most. What can we link to a persons fetish? Why we are attracted to someone with attributes of our own parents? How everything can be linked in some way to something erotic.

7 - Being appreciated

I love the look on someone's face when I give them an unexpected present. I love when someone notices that I've done or accomplished something. I like the feeling of being needed, even if it's hard work. Making people you care about happy, is what makes life worthwhile! This doesn't happen often, that's why it's made the list.

6 - Music

Everybody is into some kind of music. I like a bit of everything, but my favourite types are Eurovision, Disney, funk rock and game soundtracks. I'm a huge nerd, as you'll also see in number 4. My iPod is full of music from Runescape, Doom, CoI, Plants vs Zombies, Sonic etc.. My favourite legitimate band is Red Hot Chili Peppers, who I've been a fan of for as long as I can remember. My nickname is Dani California, and I was 11 when the name "Dani" was first sung in By The Way. Oh, the excitement! My fantastic Boyfriend bought me the ticket to see them live in November 2011, and I've never been on such a high. The Chili's are the drug without the need of... Drugs!

5 - Games

I'm a huge gamer. I was brought up by a bloke, and he was a gamer too. I prefer vintage games to modern ones, I own a Megadrive and have a lot of classic games. Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Zombies, Castle of Illusion... I also own a Playstation 2, and enjoy the Sims games,Champions series (Of Norrath/Return to Arms), and Dark Alliance II. I'm a grandmaster (Highest rank) on Miniclip Pool. Games in general are ridiculously fun. A temporary escape from reality!
I'm also a fairly avid Runescape player

4 - Comedy

I live to laugh. I love stand up by Lee Evans and Ricky Gervais. I love the feeling of making someone laugh. I love being a girl that's not afraid to make an offensive joke. I have a strange contagious laugh, which makes others laugh, then I'll laugh because they're laughing at me. It's extending my life! Somebody that greatly contributes to my health is Karl Pilkington. I don't know how interesting I'd be if Gervais hadn't given him to the world. 

3 - Pets

Yes, I'm one of those people. I love animals. Lions, Hamsters, cats, aww. I'm the type of person that gets stung by a bee, but feels sorry for the bee instead of myself. I read somewhere that a girl who owns hamsters will be a nightmare girlfriend. I was, BEFORE I owned hamsters, haha. I'm lucky enough that my boyfriend loves pets too. I've owned three, two Roborovskis and my new Syrian.

2 - Pin

How is it possible an inanimate object could bring so much happiness and comfort? It's all psychological. Attachment stems from how long you've been around it, and how important you deem the object. An object won't disappoint or hurt you (Provided it isn't sharp), it won't complain if your music is too loud. It won't tell you you're wrong. It's there if a human has upset you. I've had this attachment with Pin, my Pinocchio knitted doll since it was made for me when I was 2. I've taken him on holiday, I sleep with him, and somehow, I love him. I might be insane, but that's how it is.

1 - My boyfriend - Now fiancé

My fiancé is the greatest human being in the world. He's taught me how to be a decent girlfriend. I'm still learning to date, but I've learned so much in the time we've been together. I've never felt so patient with someone, In the sense that I still love him this much after learning about him entirely. I even love the things I dislike about him. He keeps me calm when my emotions get out of control, he makes me feel loved and needed, and subconsciously makes me feel I'll make a good wife. People say it to each other all the time, but I genuinely believe it when he says "I'd do anything for you".

Things that would have made the list, had it been a lot longer:

Snow, The Simpsons, holidays, staying in a B&B, playing sports, playing in the park (yes), takeaways, giving presents, cuddling in bed, hairdressers, having a job interview, great memories, singing.

Top 10 video games

I've composed an entry of the top 10 video games I've played. Now as a gamer, this has taken me a long time to evaluate, as well as gather images good enough to show you why I placed them in the positions I have done. I hope you enjoy reading.

10 - Guardian's Crusade (PS1)

I played this game when I first got a Playstation 1. It's one of those games that anyone can enjoy, it isn't too difficult for a child, yet adults won't feel embarrassed to admit they play it.

The storyline involves your character bumping into a pig-like monster, and you're ordered by a fairy to deliver it back to God's Tower. However, the mayor of your town orders you to take it to the Cave of Fear and leave it to die. By this point, you start forming an attachment with the creature (Your character, and YOU), which you call "Baby". So don't be ashamed to weep.

9 - The legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS)

I think we're all a little bit in love with Zelda. She's a fearless, feisty version of Princess Peach. Why Spirit Tracks over Ocarina of Time, you ask? Personal Preference. I enjoyed the villains, storyline, and added train adventure. I felt there was much more thinking necessary in Spirit Tracks, and common sense is essential. I can't say much about the game without ruining it for those that haven't played yet.

8 - Fallout: Brotherhood Of Steel (PS2)

I don't know many people that have played this version of Fallout, but it's definitely a gem. You have all the freedom you do in the newer Fallout games, as well as slightly worse graphics (Which to an easily-scared woman, is a positive thing). It was quite a long game compared to a lot of other PS2 games, and there are many jumpy moments. A particular scene in a lab has stuck in my memory, when the lights go out and there's just a faint red glow. You can hear a mutant darting about, and you have to well... Survive. 

You also have the addictive and adorable Vault Boy as a character.

7 - Doom II (PC/Megadrive)

Doom has got to be one of the most successful and pioneering series of all time. The creators made first person shooters popular with Wolfenstein, and majorly 1-upped themselves with Doom. I chose Doom II, for the advancements in Monsters and levels.

Doom II was much harder than the original. Particularly with such monsters as the irritating Pain Elemental, which shoots Lost Souls quicker than you can fire. The Revenant, a fast moving skeleton that fires heat-seeking rockets. And my personal favourite, the arch-vile, who has an eerie 'start-up' sound, and a slightly religious feel to it's movements and attack.

There are many WAD's of Doom created by fans, including ones where people have created their own monsters, added enemies from others, and some where you can play as the enemies. Doom is an all-round great game series.

6 - Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance II (PS2/Xbox)

Ah, the Elder Scrolls experts. Dark Alliance is a little gem for fans of Skyrim and Oblivion. Made by the same people, It has a similar feel, just a less complicated game. One of the best fantasy RPG's, you can build your character, place your skills, choose your missions. I was particularly fond of the villains in the game, my favourite being Luvia Bloodmire, heiress of Bloodmire Manor, which below holds a laboratory fill of mutants, creations of the woman herself.

While the Champions games (Of Norrath/Return to Arms) also get recognition here, Dark Alliance just tips it. They got the characters just right. It's also one of those games where the bosses right-hand-man is also tougher than he himself.

5 - Canis Canem Edit (PS2/Xbox)

(Bully USA)

From the makers of Grand Theft Auto, Canis Canem Edit! Fantastically addictive guilty pleasure. Whether It's perfecting the collectibles percentage, going to class, or giving nerds wedgies, this game offers fun in numerous ways. 

Temporarily banned in Florida for it's Bullying and violent "message", Canis Canem Edit offers many ways to torture other students. You can pull the fire alarm and place marbles by the entrance, then sit back and watch everyone get angry at you. You can start fights between the cliques. Stuff others into lockers. Throw water balloons. Oh and be sure not to cheat on your girlfriend, as you may get a kick in the balls.

4 - Zombies (Megadrive/Genesis/SNES)

Zombies is one of the best Megadrive games of all time, I remember it well from my childhood. Although i can openly admit I have still not completed all 50 levels. The only real flaw with Zombies is when you enter the password of a level, you are placed there with minimal weapons. If you want to finish the game, be sure to have nothing else scheduled that day.

I have a particular fondness for this game, as when I was in Junior school, my dad had me in aftercare as he worked. I was popular in Aftercare as I was the one who brought in all the games. I'd sit playing Zombies with all the other kids around me gawping in awe.

3 - Castle Of Illusion (Megadrive)

If you love cute games, play this. If you are a heartless c***, play this. If you're a robot who's been specifically designed to continuously hold no emotion, play this. You'll love it.

It's honestly one of the most adorable games with a simple story line. The evil witch Mizrabel has captured minnie, collect the gems in each world to save her! With it being "tries" instead of lives, the fact that your bum is your weapon, and the adorable way Mickey dances when you're not moving him, It's guaranteed to twitch something in your heart.

2 - Plants vs. Zombies (PC/iPad/DS)

I first found myself playing Plants vs. Zombies almost 3 years ago, when I was in HMV with a friend. I stopped to fiddle with the iPads and found myself there playing for about a hour. There's so much right with Plants vs. Zombies. It ticks every box apart from Story line, which it doesn't need. The soundtrack is very catchy, made by Laura shigihara. You'll find yourself repeating the mini-games to gain more coins, with which you can buy more plants. It's as though each plant has it's own personality, and for such a simple game, it seems so in depth.

Upon completion, we see the Sunflower sing "There's a Zombie on your Lawn", which, if you haven't heard, do not google. You will not get it out of your head.

1 - Monkey Island (PC/PS2)

(Secret/Revenge/Curse/Escape/Tales)

The Monkey Island games WERE my childhood. I had the originals on Floppy Disk. These games had everything I like in a game. Loveable characters you can relate to. Witty dialogue. A great, often unpredictable storyline. A soundtrack that's worthy of it's own iPod playlist. The games were made very well. I've never found a glitch, and my only flaw is that they stopped at 5 on such a cliffhanger, grr!

I would also like to state those I had to cut out of the list, but deserve recognition: The Sims, Streets of Rage, GTA, Alien Storm, Quackshot, Monster Lair Wonder Boy III, Lemmings, Talmits Adventure, Spyro, Ridge Racer, Bomberman, Bubble Bobble, Bust A Move, Professor Layton, Diner Dash, Champions of Norrath, Champions Return to Arms, Fallout 3, Pokemon, The Simpsons Hit and Run.
